Vitamin Deficiencies – beyond the hair, skin, and nails

Many bariatric patients are great about their vitamins in the first few months after their procedure, but many fall or or resort to a centrum or a flintstones. If only hair loss were the biggest risk!

 

Dr. Sachin Kukreja is a fellowship-trained Minimally Invasive General and Bariatric Surgeon. He loves the challenges of bariatric surgery and recognizes that Obesity is a disease that merits treatment. He is proud to offer the full range of options for those suffering the most – from medications and diet counseling, to endoscopic therapies such as gastric balloons and endoscopic sleeve gastroplasty, to bariatric surgery and revisions. He performs sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, and duodenal switch. His multidiscplinary team at DFW Bariatrics and General Surgery has a passion for care of the bariatric patient, all while providing individualized, and personalized care. There is no one-fits-all solution. Rather, a caring and thorough approach helps his patients to be successful for the long-term.
