I’m looking to maintain. I hit my plateau after 1 year after surgery where I was comfortable with my weight. [I think it’s important to] have a life. If I have a cookie the night before, I’m not going to get down on myself. I just know that I have to work it off somehow. Whether it’s walking, or watching what I eat more carefully the next day with salad and protein. Learning to balance stuff out.
I am very regimented, so I meal prep. Meal prep is a big thing for me now to hold steady. It takes the guess work out of eating after a workout. If I have it prepped on Saturday and Sunday, then it’s one less thing I have to worry about.”
