My ultimate goal is to be healthier (no longer prediabetic; no longer have high cholesterol, triglycerides, or blood pressure; no longer have sleep apnea). I have seen so many of my family members die prematurely due to obesity related issues. That’s one family tradition I do not want to continue. I also hope to set an example for my daughter, who is 18 and struggling with obesity, too.
