The raw honesty is what we need. I’m in a ton of bariatric groups online where it’s bariatric people talking – which is what we do in Banana too- but sometimes we need the raw truth given to us, whether we want to hear it or not. So, you ladies are really great for that, and I need that. Even 3 years out, I for sure need that.

I enjoy the closeness of the group. I like that Gwen shares recipes (because I know that I get bored with food) and to hear someone else’s opinion on things… It’s a combination of the ‘close-knitness’ of the group, plus being coached by you wonderful ladies. This is by far one of the best things I’ve done for myself. I’ve met some great people through this. I text Gail almost every day and we’ve met through this venture. Its just so nice to collaborate and to meet other bariatric people.
